Washington, D.C.- Florida Representative Cory Mills (R) has filed a resolution criticizing President Joe Biden’s response to the Israel-Hamas war.

The resolution alleges President Biden’s delayed response to the flight shortage out of Israel due to the war effectively left many American citizens stranded in the middle of a war.

Israel declared war on Hamas on October 8th, following a barrage of brutal surprise attacks from Iranian-backed terrorist organization Hamas. However, it was not until October 13th that the Biden administration began to directly assist American citizens wishing to flee from the conflict.

“I’m proud to lead the effort alongside Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) and Rep. Byron Donalds (FL-19) to condemn the Biden Administration for their dereliction of duty to ensure the safety of American citizens abroad,” said Representative Mills.

Mills, who personally traveled to Israel and orchestrated the evacuation of nearly 100 Americans absent action from Biden’s state department, fumed at the government’s delayed response.

“While the Biden Administration is quick to use taxpayer dollars to provide free housing to illegal immigrants entering the United States, they show time and time again they do not care about the wellbeing of American citizens stranded abroad during times of violent conflict he helped create through bad foreign policy,” continued Mills.

Appearing on Fox, Mills explained he and his team moved into Palestinian-controlled areas to extract American citizens.

Mills promised to continue working on “air and ground evacuations until every American stranded in Israel and wanting to depart has that opportunity.”

Florida Representative Byron Donalds (R) has supported Mills’ efforts, praising Mills’ “illustrated admirable leadership in his efforts to bring Americans home.”

Since Hamas’ attacks on Israel, 20 Americans have reportedly gone missing. While the fate of most of the missing remains unknown, last week, Hamas released two American hostages.
