DeSantis Exploits War in Israel by Promoting Campaign During Fox News Appearance?

After former President Donald Trump made the questionable remark that the terror group Hezbollah was “very smart” and criticizing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis pounced on the former president.

"Terrorists have murdered at least 1,200 Israelis and 22 Americans and are holding more hostage, so it is absurd that anyone, much less someone running for President, would choose now to attack our friend and ally, Israel, much less praise Hezbollah terrorists as 'very smart," stated Gov. DeSantis.

"But Hezbollah, they are very smart. And they have a National Defense Minister, somebody saying 'I hope Hezbollah doesn't attack us from the north," said President Trump. "So the following morning they attacked. They might not have been doing it but if you listen to this jerk you would attack from the north because he said 'That's our weak spot.' About fifteen seconds later it was all over."

But less than two days after President Trump made the statement about Hezbollah, Gov. DeSantis appeared on Fox News’ “Faulkner Focus,” where he spoke to host Harris Faulkner about his executive order to help evacuate Americans from Israel, DeSantis appeared to openly promote his presidential campaign by standing in front of his campaign video backdrop where his “RD” campaign logo and his “Text Freedom to 512345” were front and center.

The question that can be posed here is, of all the backgrounds or backdrops he could have used to speak on national TV about the war in Israel and the atrocities Hamas terrorists committed, why use your presidential campaign backdrop?

Earlier this week The Floridian first reported of Rep. Cory Mills traveling to Israel to evacuate Americans out of Israel because the Biden administration had not acted yet on doing so.
