Cammack Condemns Omar and Tlaib, Says They Have a Problem as a 'Human'

Nearly a week has gone by since the horrific Hamas attack against Israel, for which several members of the Democratic "Squad" have not condemned the terrorist organization. Representative Kat Cammack (R-FL) briefly spoke with The Floridian about this silence, saying, "If you cannot bring yourself to denounce terrorism... then you have a problem as a human."

Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) posted on X (formerly Twitter) that while "We honor the humanity of the hundreds of innocent Israeli civilians and 9 Americans who were killed this weekend, we must honor the humanity of the innocent Palestinian civilians who have been killed and whose lives are upended," saying the only answer instead of retaliation was "a negotiated peace — with Israelis and Palestinians enjoying equal rights and security guarantees," condemning Israel's response to the attack.

Meanwhile, Representative Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) seemingly justified the attack, calling Israel an "apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that can lead to resistance" and demanding funding for the Jewish State to stop lest "this heartbreaking cycle of violence will continue."

Rep. Cammack had none of that in her statement to The Floridian: "It is a privilege to serve in the House of Representatives, and we unequivocally stand with Israel."

Additionally, she said that "If you cannot bring yourself to denounce terrorism, you cannot bring yourself to denounce the beheading of babies and innocent children; the brutalization and rape of women; then you have a problem as a human, not just as a representative, but as a human."

Cammack described her inability to comprehend how "someone who is so broken and filled with hate, and trafficking in hate, that they cannot denounce innocent people like those we have seen on the news, on social media, that have lost their lives at the hands of these Hamas terrorists."

Finally, Cammack concluded, saying, "If they do not denounce terrorism, they have no business serving in this chamber."

Both Reps. Omar and Tlaib did not get back to The Floridian for comment.
