Smugglers, traffickers, and terrorists are not the only ones taking advantage of the current border crisis. Chinese spies posing as tourists are coming in by the thousands to spy on American installations. Representative Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) appeared on Fox Business's Mornings with Maria to discuss, criticizing the Biden Administration of "kneeling to the Chinese."

The Wall Street Journal reported as many as 100 incidents of Chinese nationals, dubbed "gate crashers," attempting to access American military bases and other sensitive sites in the past several years. Despite this, Rep. Gimenez said he only just learned the news.

"It does not surprise me at all that the Chinese are using this and other types of tactics in order to spy on our bases," said Rep. Gimenez, adding that while this form of espionage is "low level," the threat nonetheless remains real.

The host asked when President Biden and Congress would put their foot down against China. Rep. Gimenez answered that while Congress can "legislate" and "certainly express our opinion," the decisive actions must ultimately be taken by the President.

Gimenez, however, is not optimistic about President Biden, whom he accused of having to "beg for meetings" with China as he did in July, and of "kneeling to the Chinese."

"All he and his administration do is kowtow to the Chinese. Beg them for meetings, beg them to please accept us coming to China so we can talk to you, and the Chinese are laughing all the way to the bank. And this is just an illustration of "never listen to what the Biden Administration tells you; watch what they are doing." That is much more indicative of their true intentions. And at this point, they are just kneeling to the Chinese," Gimenez continued.

More to the point, China is taking further advantage of the border by sending fentanyl and its component chemicals to Mexico for smuggling into the United States.

"We have had an increase in the number of Chinese nationals that are coming through, but also coming through are Chinese drugs because fentanyl is killing tens of thousands of Americans every single year. Those chemicals are actually coming from China to Mexico. They produce the fentanyl that then goes on to kill tens of thousands of Americans every single year," Gimenez concluded, likely repeating for emphasis.
