The account of Pro-DeSantis Super PAC "Never Back Down" is back up after being briefly suspended on the platform formerly known as Twitter this morning. Never Back Down Strategic Communications Director Matt Wolking has confirmed the platform owned by Elon Musk, now called 'X' has suspended the account of the Super PAC.
"It's #GOPDebate day and the @nvrbackdown24 account was just suspended for no apparent reason. What is going on @elonmusk?" posted Woking.
Governor DeSantis's Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern posted, "If you were wondering if there was any air between Team Trump and the Liberal establishment in the fight to take down supporters of Ron DeSantis… Here’s your answer."
Ken Cucinelli, founder of Never Back Down PAC, called out Elon Musk for hypocrisy. Cucinelli reposted a post from Musk accusing Facebook of "manipulating the public almost everywhere on Earth."
"This is nice, when @X just suspended the @NvrBackDown24 account for no reason. How about getting the beam out of your own eye,@X, before pointing out the splinters in FB's? I wonder, did any other PACs supporting any other Presidential candidates get surprise-suspended today?" posted Cucinelli.
"Election Interference," posted Marcel Teloma, Director of Students for DeSantis at Never Back Down.
Alex Brusewitz, CEO of X Strategies which is funded in part by former President Trump's Super PAC, accused Never Back Down of having their own account suspended for attention.
"Hoax. You likely purposely got your account suspended so you could get some attention," posted Brusewitz under Woking's post.
As of 10:45am the account has been reinstated.
No explanation for the sudden suspension has been released as of this story's publication.
