DeSantis Campaigns with Governor Chris Sununu in New Hampshire

Governor Ron DeSantis says he is hitting the campaign trail today with New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu.

"Happy to be hitting the trail today with Gov @ChrisSununu in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Live Free or Die!" DeSantis posted to X.

Sununu has not endorsed anyone for for GOP Presidential primary yet, but has been highly critical of former President Trump. Sununu ruled out a run for President himself earlier this summer while making a dig at the former President.

"I will not seek the Republican nomination for president in 2024," posted Sununu on X.  "The stakes are too high for a crowded field to hand the nomination to a candidate who earns just 35 percent of the vote, and I will help ensure this does not happen."

Sununu posted the same photo of him and DeSantis next to the Never Back Down PAC campaign bus in New Hampshire.

"Handshake by handshake, person by person. That's how you win the First in the Nation Presidential Primary," posted Sununu.

Sununu has also posted recent photos of him with candidates Chris Christie, Nikki Haley and Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, introducing them at events, but DeSantis is the first to hit the campaign trail with Sununu.

"As a former governor, my good friend @ChrisChristie knows how to get things done. During his time as Chair of @GOPGovs, he helped elect GOP Governors across the country. Few appreciate the NH presidential primary more than Chris. Great to introduce him at a town hall in Salem!" posted Sununu.

The New Hampshire GOP primary will be held on March 12, 2024.
