Trump Shares new Border Policy Views

President Donald Trump (R) has released a new video outlining his border policy. During his time in the White House, President Trump was heavily criticized over his hardline stance on immigration concerns. Ahead of the 2024 presidential election, President Trump is reaffirming his stance.

In a newly released video, President Trump shares his thoughts on policies that are part of his political platform.

In the video, Trump affirms that his administration “will fully secure the border.”

I will wage war on the cartels just as I destroyed the ISIS caliphate,” Trump continues, mentioning that “they’ll come back now because we have a weak administration.”

Trump also made reference to the controversial Title 42 that recently concluded. If he should assume the White House again, he will once again enact Title 42 “to end the child trafficking crisis by returning all trafficked children to their families in their home countries and without delay.” Moreover, Trump has vowed to “urge congress to ensure that anyone caught trafficking children across our border receives the death penalty immediately.” That would also include trafficking of women “because women, as you know, are number one in trafficking. Children are actually number two.”

Earlier this year, Trump endorsed a measure that would see the United States military being used against drug cartels. The measure, introduced by Florida Rep. Mike Waltz (R) and Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R), has received significant pushback from Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who even threatened to interfere in the upcoming election to ensure that Republicans do not win.

After President Trump endorses the bill brought forth by Crenshaw and Waltz, Crenshaw took to social media to highlight that "the Trump Administration had the strongest border security policies we've ever seen - and they worked," adding that Trump "understands the dire threat from the Mexican drug cartels that have operational control of our souther border."
