This week, Americans were glued to screens across the country as Committee hearings on actual extraterrestrial beings or aliens took place. At the same time, Hunter Biden was pleading not guilty to federal charges of tax evasion and possession of a weapon. As a trial is set to commence, calls are mounting for an investigation into President Joe Biden (D). Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) discussed the Hunter Biden trial, questioning and arguing that there's a double standard with the media.
During an interview with Fox News, Senator Rubio criticized the media, arguing that it hasn’t been doing an effective job at covering the investigation despite suspicious activity from Hunter Biden.
“What’s pretty clear is Hunter Biden made a lot of money for a guy that has no qualifications” Rubio questioned, adding that, “common sense tells you, you don’t pay people… the amount of money he made, not just from China, from Ukraine, gifts from Russians, all these kinds of things from a guy whose completely unqualified to get that kind of money, and then the way that money was distributed through a series of byzantine shell companies under the name of, some cases, kids that were barely adults or in some cases minors… I mean, if there was an ‘R’ next to the Biden name, this would be the number one story in America, but instead they’ve tried up until today to keep this under the rug and not focus on it.”
Rubio’s comments come at the same time that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (D) also signaled that he supports an investigation into the Biden family,
During an interview with Fox News, RFK Jr. voiced that the issues “coming up are worrying enough that we really need a real investigation of what happened.” He added that “the revelations about the, where you had Burisma, which is, you know, a notoriously corrupt company that paid out, apparently, $10 million to Hunter and his dad. If that’s true, then it is really troubling. So, I think that that needs to be investigated.”
