As more data surrounding the origins of COVID-19 surface, Representative Brian Mast (R-FL) is alleging that a major figure in American politics could have more of a direct role in the viruses’ initial escalation.

The Department of Energy and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) both concluded that COVID-19 most likely originated in a lab in Wuhan. More importantly, records indicate that funding for the Wuhan Institute of Virology can be traced back to none other than Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Yes. According to Congressman Mast, the doctor who needed just “15 days to slow the spread” could’ve funded the virus and its inception.

Rep. Mast explains, “We also found that entities like EcoHealth Alliance - which received millions of dollars in grants from Dr. Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) - have funded labs that engage in animal testing around the world, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology. And now, we’re learning that the most likely Patient Zero of COVID-19 was a Wuhan animal scientist receiving funding from Fauci’s NIAID and USAID for gain-of-function experiments on bat coronaviruses.”

He would go on to mention that the “science gangs” are trying to convince the American public of the wet market theory despite “no sufficient evidence.”

“It’s very clear that all the signs point to the Wuhan lab, and yet these “science” gangs are again siding with China to defend the natural origin story with no sufficient evidence,” wrote Mast in a blog post. “That is not science. Earlier this year I introduced the resolution to force communist China to accept responsibility for its gross deception and mishandling of the COVID-19 outbreak. I also worked with organizations like White Coat Waste that work to expose outright lies and outrageous use of our tax dollars all across the world.”

This is not the first time Rep. Mast has called out Dr. Fauci for his gain-of-function experiments.

When a sickening report from White Coat Waste came about accusing Dr. Anthony Fauci of funding experiments (with taxpayer dollars) that used dogs as test subjects with cruel and inhumane practices, Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) was quick to jump on the story.

Mast has demanded that the National Institute of Health (NIH) and its subsequent departments need to be held accountable.

“The agency needs to disclose exactly how much money was spent on these tests and whether or not any dogs are still involved in these types of experiments. I am committed to ending this taxpayer-funded animal abuse so that Americans aren’t forced to subsidize this kind of ‘research’ ever again.”

The New York Times reported that Dr. Fauci will join Georgetown University as a faculty member.
