Trump Slams 'Corrupt Justice System'

Share

As expected, the Trump voting base of support has a lot to say about the charges against Hunter Biden. With Biden pleading guilty to tax evasion and illegal gun possession, Republican voters see this as the beginning of a much-anticipated investigation. However, given that Biden is expected to avoid jail time, that might not be the case. In response, Team Trump is slamming “Crooked Joe” as Trump chides “corrupt justice system.”

President Donald Trump (R), who’s facing a slew of charges himself, has further criticized the “corrupt justice system.” In speaking about the charges that Biden has pled guilty to, Trump argued that “they gave him a traffic ticket and cleared everything up. It is a disgrace to the system. It is a disgrace to America.”

Team Trump is following the same messaging, slamming “Crooked Joe.”

“Crooked Joe’s Department of Justice wants to send President Trump to jail for 400 years despite having committed NO CRIME,” the team issued in a message to supporters. “But the DOJ is clearing up hundreds of years of REAL CRIMINAL liability by giving Hunter Biden the equivalent of a mere ‘traffic ticket,’” the team lamented.

In turn, the team poses a distinction between Biden and voters, saying that “if you had failed to pay $2,000,000 worth of taxes, lied on a federal background check to purchase a gun, possessed illegal drugs, and had corrupt foreign business ties, the Justice Department would lock you up for years.”

President Joe Biden (D) has not commented on his son. In a recent press conference, the president was questioned about his son, but the only thing he mentioned was that he was “proud” of Hunter amidst the ongoing the legal woes.

Trump has consistently dismissed the charges against himself as a political “witch hunt,” questioning why there’s no investigation into the Biden family and Hunter Biden’s “lap top.”
