Pence Dubbed 'MAGA Wingman' Ahead of 2024 run

This election season continues to prove surprising as a slew of Republicans are set to announce their presidential aspirations. Once Trump supporters, Vice President Mike Pence (R) and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie (R), are set to announce their intentions to run for office. While Pence has largely remained mum on President Trump, Christie has become a sharp critic. Democrats are now beginning to campaign against Pence, calling him a “MAGA wingman.”

Many would argue that the relationship between President Donald Trump (R) and Vice President Pence ended on January 6^th, but Pence hasn’t outright chided President Trump. Earlier this year, Pence hinted that he was gearing up for a presidential run, but he didn’t confirm anything. Now, the former Vice President of the United States has filed paperwork to run for office. Though Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) and President Trump are considered the frontrunners in the GOP primary race, Democrats are still launching a criticism campaign at Pence, urging voters to reject the “MAGA” movement.

In a newly released advertisement, Democrats are pushing back in full force, highlighting past footage of Pence praising the Trump-Pence administration.

“I will always be proud of the record of the Trump-Pence administration” Pence praises.

In another social media post, Democrats provide a “2024 MAGA Cheat Sheet,” indicating that with Pence’s candidacy, he will take the “MAGA” agenda even further.

Democrats accuse him of numerous things, including that Pence “will do anything for power, including campaigning for election deniers in 2022.”

Trump has focused his attacks on Governor DeSantis, and no candidate has commented on Pence’s candidacy, but with the first debate taking place in August, the candidates will now have to confront each other. Moreover, Trump and Pence will now have to defend their record while also attempting to sway voters against each other.
