Are House Republicans' efforts to impeach President Biden a means to distract from the indictment of former President Donald Trump? Representative Jared Moskowitz (D-FL) suggested so in a recent interview with Brian Tyler Cohen.

"We know what House Republicans’ attempts to impeach Biden are really about. They want to muddy the waters and distract from THEIR leader who got caught showering with classified documents," Rep. Moskowitz tweeted.

"They're doing all this Hunter stuff and all this Biden stuff as a distraction. It's all about distracting, it's all about deflecting. Donald Trump showed them how to do that," said Rep. Moskowitz.

Specifically, he claimed Trump turns any weakness or attack against him back on the attacker, especially as former Attorney General Bill Barr and 2024 rival Chris Christie are speaking against him.

"He's in trouble. Bill Barr says he's toast; Chris Christie says he's in trouble. These are two former prosecutors, both have worked for Donald Trump at different points, Chris Christie being on the transition team and Bill Barr being the actual Attorney General," Moskowitz continued.

Hence why House Republicans are seeking to turn "the most boring family in America into the Gambino crime family," as Moskowitz put it.

Moskowitz called the 1023 form initially pointing to alleged evidence of Biden bribery "double hearsay." Furthermore, he demanded physical proof of the 17 audio recordings of conversations between the Bidens and Burisma employees.

"The 1023 form that was filled out four years ago based on information that is seven years old, is double hearsay from two people saying a conversation that was completely in Russian. We'll say there are 17 tapes. Where are the tapes? Nobody knows. We'll say we have informants. Produce the informants. "Oh, we lost them." Hey, we got this laptop with all this information. Great, show the American people the information on the laptop. Oh, we can't show them that," Moskowitz concluded.

At the beginning of June, a website named BidenLaptopMedia.com released thousands of photos purported to be on Hunter Biden's abandoned laptop.
