Salazar Threatens Biden Over Israel

Share

Florida Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R) has threatened President Joe Biden (D) over Israel. The Florida lawmaker noted that the president has not invited Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu. This is alarming for Rep. Salazar considering that Biden has invited the President of Colombia Gustavo Petro and the President of Brazil Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, two outspoken Leftist leaders.

Republican lawmakers have directed criticism at Presidents Metro and Lula over their political views, warning that their far-Left ideologies will have negative effects on their respective countries. However, Salazar took to social media to question why Biden has extended an invitation to the White House to both Metro and Lula, not Prime Minister Netanyahu.

On Twitter, Salazar lamented that "President Biden has still not invited the Prime Minister of Israel to the White House, yet he rolled out the red carpet for far left critics of the US, Petro and Lula."

Petro visited Washington in late April, and Rep. Salazar confronted the Colombian President. During their meeting, Salazar reiterated that the United States remains committed in their partnership to Colombia. However, she criticized the policies that Petro has put forward for Colombia, arguing that the Petro administration is trying to impose a socialist future.

After the meeting, Salazar expressed that "Petro is just another socialist following the same strategy Castro, Chavez, and Ortega used before him - distract in order to conceal your intentions."

On Twitter, Salazar further commented that "if Biden does not invite Netanyahu soon, then Congress will step in and show him how an ally should be treated."

Salazar again took to social media to reaffirm that Miami stands with Israel as the country faces turmoil.

"Israel is once again the target of cowardly rocket attacks aimed at civilians," she shared. "Israel has every right to defend itself from terrorism," Salazar concluded.
