Donalds Accuses Biden of 'Race-Baiting' in Campaign Announcement Video

As President Joe Biden (D) has officially thrown his hat back in the ring to keep his seat in the White House, Republicans such as Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) have called out the President for some of the claims he made during his announcement video.

Within the video, President Biden claims that “MAGA Republicans” are “making it more difficult for you to be able to vote.”

Rep. Donalds responded, saying that the President is “race-baiting.”

Joe Biden is lying again when he says Republicans want to make it harder for people to vote. FACT: It’s easier to vote in Florida, Texas, and Georgia than in Biden’s home state of Delaware. Stop the race-baiting. Black and Brown Americans aren’t being disenfranchised. You and I both know this,” stated Rep. Donalds.

Last week, Donalds announced his endorsement for former President Donald Trump (R), stating that he was “all in on Donald J. Trump for 2024.”

He spoke on having to make the decision between Trump and likely candidate, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R), as well.

"My view on the presidential primaries amongst Republicans is that our nominee has got to hit the ground running on day one and be able to say to the world, 'American leadership is back, we're not going to have countries and their sovereignties be taken advantage of. We want to actually have global security and global trade, and frankly global harmony," said Donalds.

He went on to mention Trump’s résumé, stating that he has “done it once, he can do it again.”

"So if you ask me a decision between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, what I'm looking for is somebody who would come in day one and get America back on track. Donald Trump has done it once, he can do it again, and I would ask all Americans, you have President Trump, you have President Biden. They've both done the job, the question is who did it better?" Donalds concluded.

In addition to Donalds, Trump has already received the endorsements of Representatives Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), Cory Mills (R-FL), and 7 other Florida members of the House of Representatives, and Jim Jordan (R-OH).
