Early in March, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody called President Biden the "biggest benefactor" of the Mexican drug cartels. Now, after investigations through a grand jury, Moody has said in a recent Fox appearance the Biden administration has facilitated "trafficking and abuse of children."
"It is shocking to me that we are having to talk about such a flimsy case against a former President, instead of talking about a months-long Florida grand jury investigation showing the Biden administration facilitating the trafficking and abuse of children," said Moody.
The grand jury, convened in June, has sought to curb the release of undocumented migrants from Florida jails and track down human traffickers operating at the southern border.
A recent report by the grand jury described how the Office of Refugee Resettlement has effectively facilitated the trafficking of 250,000 child migrants out of "incessant pressure on case managers to process [Unaccompanied Alien Children] speedily with minimal if any scrutiny of sponsors or questionable documents, addresses, or stories told to them."

In her Fox appearance, AG Moody described the results of this lack of scrutiny, calling them "shocking."
"It's shocking as a mother the circumstances and horrific threats these children are exposed to," she stated.
AG Moody then blamed Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and President Biden, saying their facilitation of child trafficking "was not an overstatement," adding that Biden and Mayorkas' open borders policy is enabling the problem.
"Mayorkas, Biden, this is on them. When we came out and said that they are colluding and helping in trafficking children into our country, that was not an overstatement. At the time, we only knew about the middle-of-the-night flights that they were shipping these people across the country. Now a grand jury has found that these children are being encouraged to come here because of Biden's policies and Mayorkas. And when they are, the administration rapidly processes them. They don't do much of any investigation," Moody continued.
She spoke of children being "sold for sex" and sponsors (whom the children don't even know) having them picked up at strip clubs, "This is indeed trafficking, there's no other word for it."
"They've been sent to live with people they don't even know. They've been sold for sex. They've been abused. In some cases, these people have listed strip clubs as the places where they're intending to go. This is indeed trafficking, there's no other word for it," stated Moody.
Finally, Moody references the Trump indictment as "a flimsy case" generating more discussion when months of investigation by a grand jury have suggested the President and Secretary of Homeland Security are enabling child trafficking over the southern border.
"It is shocking to me that we're talking about such a flimsy case against a former President of the United States, and we're not talking about a current case against this President and Mayorkas for trafficking children. Or at least turning a blind eye to what is actually happening. And this is no longer just politicians talking about it, these are findings from a grand jury who spent months investigating," Moody concluded.
