Scott Declares President Biden a 'Hypocrite'

On Capitol Hill, Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) called President Joe Biden (D) a “hypocrite” and said that he “has no idea how to balance a budget,” during an interview on Fox News.

Sen. Scott has been tough on President Biden, especially as inflation numbers and gas prices have been high during his Presidency.

During the interview, Sen. Scott stated that “Biden’s a hypocrite here.” First off when he was in the Senate he proposed cutting Medicare, Social Security, veteran’s benefits, Medicaid, all these things. Last fall he cut $280 billion out of Medicare.”

He also went after President Biden’s personal finances, stating that he used tax loopholes to avoid paying hundreds of thousands of dollars.

“He used a loophole not to pay half a million dollars worth of Medicare taxes, and now he wants to eliminate the loophole. This guy is a hypocrite,” said Scott.

Scott also condemned Biden’s ability to bring solutions to the table when it comes to everyday problems in America.

“He (Biden) doesn’t sit down to try to solve any problems. He just goes out and has platitudes but there’s no proposal. There are ways to make sure we preserve the benefits of Social Security, Medicare, bur you don’t do it by raising taxes, spending out the wazoo; it’s just they have no idea how to balance the budget and take care of these programs,” mentioned Scott.

Recently, the Florida Senator alongside Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) urged Biden to allow world number one tennis player Novak Djokovic to enter the United States and play in the Miami Open, despite being unvaccinated against COVID.

Due to the Biden administration’s hesitancy, Djokovic has withdrawn from the tournament.
