2023 Legislative Session Chugs Along

It’s only the second week of the yearly legislative session and Gov. Ron DeSantis has signaled that this will be the productive one yet.

He’s not wrong, so far.

Republican legislators are pushing the Governor’s entire agenda, from tackling Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), addressing property insurance, state ESG investments, affordable housing, and pushing for a 6-week abortion ban law, commonly known as a “Heartbeat bill.”
