Donalds Calls Out MSNBC Host for being Deceptive

MSNBC’s Ali Velshi attempted to make the case that former President Donald Trump (R) is currently responsible for China’s growing influence in the Middle East, calling it one of his “many failures.”

President Trump has been out of office since January of 2021.

Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) called out Velshi for his comments, calling them “deceptive” while also claiming that the United States’ present foreign policy problems are due to President Joe Biden (D) and his administration, not Trump.

“It’s now March of Biden’s 3rd yr in office, yet the media still pushes deceptive narratives that his disastrous foreign policy failures are not his fault. Less than 4 yrs ago, we were standing up to China, brokering Middle East peace & had a working relationship with the Saudis,” stated Rep. Byron Donalds.

While in office, President Trump facilitated the Abraham Accords, which was a peace deal between Israel, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco.

About a year ago, Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) praised the peace negotiations, saying she was “thrilled to see” them unfold.

“Thrilled to see the historic #Negev_Summit where the US, Israel, Arab, and Gulf states are rejecting terrorism and committing to cooperation. This is what normalization looks like,” said Rep. Wasserman Schultz.

Also, Russia did not invade Ukraine while Trump was in office. Russia invaded Ukraine while President Joe Biden was Vice President during the Obama administration.

Velshi did not elaborate on  his opinion time in which President Biden would take full ownership of the foreign policy decisions or whether President Trump will be excused from his now-diassociation with the White House.
