WINTER HAVEN—At a press conference to commemorate the 3-year anniversary of “15 Days to Slow the Spread” of the COVID-19  virus effort, Gov. Ron DeSantis, who was flanked by Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, was asked if there was data to show how COVID “baby jabs” interacted with existing baby vaccinations.

Gov. DeSantis said that he and his team did not have “data on traditional childhood vaxes,” and added that regardless of what pro-vaccine proponents say,  “we just don’t know” if there are adverse effects to babies who are vaccinated.

“We are the only state in the country that didn’t do the baby jabs through our health department,” said Gov. DeSantis, adding that he said Florida was “not going to be involved” because benefits of babies receiving the vaccine could not be proven, and that the vaccines could “potentially harm” babies.

“To put it in a 6-month-old baby, it's just fundamentally wrong,” added Gov. DeSantis.
