Mills Calls for House GOP to Start Investigating Biden for Documents Debacle

Share

Freshman Congressman and newly selected member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) recently went on Fox Business to discuss President Joe Biden’s (D) scandal concerning the found documents containing classified information at various locations, including the President’s Delaware home.

Rep. Mills implied that the notion of the filing system being the problem for the mishandling of the documents was just plain wrong.

“This idea there is no archive or no record system, where people know that there is actually classified documents still out for not just years, but in some cases decades…this is really scary whenever you’ve got someone like Hunter Biden, or you’ve got these documents, which are just strategically placed in a ‘misfiling’ as he claims in his garage.”

Mills would go on to state that the carelessness of these actions could not affect Americans domestically, but also Americans serving all around the world.

“You know, these are things that could actually expose not just individual agents, but operations, (the documents) could talk about classified information from regards to commerce to national security issues. And so, it’s really, really irresponsible and feckless that they’re trying to say that this is just kind of a misplacement.”

When prodded about what Mills and the House Republicans plan to do concerning launching any kind of investigation, the Florida Congressman stated that it’s time to start looking into how these documents “continue to be misplaced.”

“We have five places for classified documents that we know of so far. These keep coming up. Look, the bottom line is that James Comer from the oversight as well as for Jim Jordan from the Judiciary need to certainly have some type of a subpoena or investigation or inquiry into how these documents continue to be misplaced.”

It’s possible that the House Republicans mean business when it comes to investigating President Biden.
