Move over Gov. Ron DeSantis, there is another goodwill ambassador for the "Free State Florida looking to take the glory away from the popular governor and his name is Rep. Carlos Gimenez.
Gov. DeSantis has been welcoming, and at times trying to lure "blue state" Americans and businesses to move to Florida for the past several years.
Earlier today. Rep. Gimenez took some time to film a short Twitter video where he pitch Fox News to move to Florida.
Gimenez had just concluded an interview on Fox and Friends from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hotel in Hollywood, Florida where the news outlet held its annual Patriot Awards the night before.
The Patriot Awards honors everyday Americans and First Responders who commit selfless acts of heroism, dedication, and sacrifice
Rep. Gimenez, a former firefighter, made the ask but doesn't think that Fox will take up his suggestion.
"I'm glad they're here in South Florida, inviting them to stay in South Florida and move from New York," said Gimenez, adding, " I don't think they're going to take me up on it, but I think it's a good idea."
