Cammack: Border Agents Have been Reduced to "Glorified Babysitters"

Share

With monthly border crossings in the tens of thousands, many Republicans have criticized the Biden administration for their lack of attentiveness to the growing crisis down south. President Joe Biden (D) has now decided to recruit military volunteers to help with the border crisis. Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) gave her thoughts on Fox Business just two days ago.

“This administration, they said the quiet part out loud. They admitted to having a border crisis by having to put a call out for people who are “willing to serve,” stated Rep. Cammack.

But the United States asking for volunteers within the military to help at the border isn’t the only thing troubling the Florida Congresswoman.

“But what’s interesting is that they don’t want you to serve in the capacity under the law as its laid out. They want you to serve Joe Biden’s political agenda…they’re (border patrol agents) expected to uphold the law while simultaneously breaking the law. Because that is what Alejandro Majorkas has done, as has Biden. This is not the Commander-in-Chief, this is the trafficker-in-chief, and now they’re asking our military to be complicit in this. It’s disgusting,” remarked Cammack.

Cammack was asked by the host about the changing in responsibilities that Border Patrol agents have endured under the Biden administration, stating that the properly trained agents have been reduced to “glorified babysitters,” due to no fault of their own.

“The men and women protecting this nation are basically turned into glorified babysitters and processing papers. It’s just obnoxiously disrespectful…They have signed up to defend our nation’s borders and be that front line, and yet they are just processing people and catching and releasing per the policy of the Joe Biden administration.
