Rep. Brian Mast Goes Scorched Earth on Biden Over 'Rainbow' Fentanyl

Along the countless numbers of crimes that occur at the southern border (other than illegal immigration itself), law enforcement and border patrol agents have a new problem on their hands as there have been reports of mass quantities of the highly addictive, and incredibly lethal drug, fentanyl, being found The introduction of this drug into American society has caused politicians and pundits around the nation to sound the alarm as it has become one of the leading killers in the United States and has become the #1 killer of those aged 18-45.

On Tuesday, Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) acknowledged not only the tragedy of the opioid’s presence, but the “Biden Administration’s failure to secure the southern border” as well.

“The Biden Administration’s failure to secure the southern border is a threat to our kids’ safety. Cartels are now smuggling “rainbow” fentanyl - lethal drugs that look like candy and meant to entice teens and young people. What is border czar Harris going to do about it?” said the Florida Congressman.

However, the disdain for the President Joe Biden (D) and his administration is not limited to just the border. There are a multitude of issues in which Republicans have called out Biden for. On Sunday, Mast again echoed his frustration with the Biden administration, accusing the President of breaking “every promise he makes.”

Joe Biden breaks every promise he makes. He promised he would get every American out of Afghanistan. He promised he would champion working families. He promised he would unite the country. His word means nothing. Nothing is more important to him than advancing partisan agendas," stated Mast.

Currently, Joe Biden’s approval rating is at 43%, according to FiveThirtyEight. In late July, it was as low as 37%.

The President has declared that he intends to run again in 2024. He would be 86 years old at the end of his second term if he were to be re-elected.
