Charlie Crist’s Whopping ‘Don’t Say Gay’ Misstep

Charlie Crist will be Charlie Crist.

By his own admission, Charlie is a nice and likable guy, so will Floridians give him a pass at the ballot box for uttering one of the most egregious lies in recent memory?

It appears that there are two versions of the Parental Rights in Education bill Gov. Ron DeSantis signed into law earlier this year.

The bill Gov. DeSantis signed does not have any mention of LGBTQ or homosexuality or even the use of the word “gay” in the text.

But according to Crist, there is another “Don’t Say Gay” bill that only he read.

There is only one Parental Rights in Education bill, and it’s the one DeSantis signed into law. Crist's response to a question posed to him about the bill is just his interpretation of what he believes the bill says, not what the actual measure calls for.

It’s a fantasyland moment for Crist. READ MORE

Republican/ Conservative Hypocrisy at Work in Florida

Without mentioning any names, certain Republicans or Conservatives that dabble in calling out legacy news outlets (rightly so) for their blatant media bias against prominent Republican activists, elected officials, pundits, and political candidates, have ensnarled themselves in hypocrisy.

These individuals rail against the legacy media for not giving proper credit to certain media outlets that break and report news stories, but fail to give some of those same news outlets the proper attribution simply because they have aligned themselves with media outlets they prefer over others.

This is shameful.

There are a few of these preferred media outlets that have coopted news stories from other media sites they feel are their competitors without giving any attribution.

Also, these same “Five Finger Discount” up-and-coming outlets that swear to report the real news are fed scoops in order to make a headline. It’s obvious and pathetic.

Is this bias by the “Media Police” any different than what the legacy media does on a regular basis?

Nope.

The hypocrisy is rich here.

While all of the reporters over at POLITICO tend to do a good job reporting the news (there are a lot of hiccups though) their preference for other Florida-centric news sites, all having "left-leaning" bias, is obvious and standard practice.

You can spoon-feed them a whopping exclusive story or interview and they will not cover it.

And you wonder why DeSantis thinks the media sucks.

Squeezers

Marco Rubio-According to the left & their media enablers it’s dangerous to criticize a federal judge or question their decisions…… unless of course that judge was appointed by Trump or the decision isn’t the one the left & media wanted

Rep. Ted Deutch-As the US continues to confront Russia's illegal and unjust invasion of Ukraine AND consider a potential return to an Iran nuclear deal, we must examine how Russia and Iran cooperate to undermine the international rules-based order and advance their own malicious agendas.

US Rep Kathy Castor- Women and girls across America are inspired by the courage and determination of the @USWNT ’s fight for #equalpay! Thank you for standing up for what’s right and never giving up!
