In a race for the Florida State House in District 45 near the Walt Disney World area, an interesting endorsement has just been announced on the Republican side. It turns out, Donald Trump Jr. has declared his support for Carolina Amesty (R-FL). Amesty has received the endorsement over primary opponents such as Vennia Francois, Janet Frevola, Bruno Portigliatti and Mike Zhao.

Currently, the oldest son of the former President sits as the Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, and according to the Amesty campaign, will headline a fundraising event for her in the future.

“I’m proud to support an America First warrior like Carolina,” said Donald Trump Jr. “We need more young conservatives with a backbone, who are willing to step into the political arena to defend our precious liberties from the radical left.”

Amesty was appreciative of the support as well.

“I am very honored to have Donald Trump Jr.’s support for my race in House District 45,” said Carolina Amesty. “We have been fellow warriors in the conservative cause, and I look forward to fighting alongside him for our values and our principles. He has been an outstanding spokesman for the Right, unafraid to call out Joe Biden’s incompetent leadership and radical Leftist policies that are ripping our country apart.”

Amesty is currently the vice president at Central Christian University and serves as a board member for Chaplains of Florida, according to her press release. The release goes on to mention that “As an American with Venezuelan heritage, she is deeply conscious of the consequences of socialism and will fight tirelessly to combat the radical left and defend free markets for all.”

Currently, Kamia Brown (D-FL) holds the seat in District 45. The primary race between Amesty and the other Republican candidates will be held on August 23rd.
