Florida Rep. Kat Cammack Receives Flurry of Endorsements

Share

While there has been a flurry of political endorsements swirling around the nation and in the state of Florida, Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL) has recently announced a lengthy endorsement list including Sheriffs from around the Sunshine State.

11 Sheriffs announced their support Cammack: Sheriffs Scotty Rhoden (Baker County), Gordon Smith (Bradford County), Mark Hunter (Columbia County), Darby Butler (Dixie County), Bobby Schultz (Gilchrist County), J. Harrell Reid (Hamilton County), Brian Lamb (Lafayette County), Bobby McCallum (Levy County), Billy Woods (Marion County), Sam St. John (Suwannee County), and Brad Whitehead (Union County).

“I am so honored to have the support of our sheriffs and law enforcement leaders in Florida’s Third Congressional District,” said Cammack. “In Florida, we prioritize law and order and take great pride in keeping our communities safe. Our sheriffs are committed to this mission and work hard with their fellow law enforcement officers to protect and serve the people of North Florida. Their partnership in reducing crime, supporting citizens’ constitutional rights, and standing up for the outstanding public service of our law enforcement officers will ensure Florida’s Third remains one of the safest areas in the Sunshine State.”

Moreover, Rep. Cammack also received endorsements from Florida State Representatives such as Jason Shoaf (State House District 7: Lafayette), Chuck Brannan (State House District 10: Alachua, Baker, Columbia, Hamilton, Suwannee), Bobby Payne (State House District 20: Bradford, Union), Chuck Clemons (State House District 22: Alachua, Dixie, Gilchrist), Joe Harding (State House District 24: Levy, Marion), and Stan McClain (State House District 27: Marion).

“There is not a more dedicated, hardworking group of Republican State Representatives than the six who serve the great people of Florida’s Third Congressional District,” said Cammack. “I am proud to have the support of Reps. Brannan, Clemons, Harding, McClain, Payne, and Shoaf as we head toward November. They work tirelessly to represent us in Tallahassee, and we will continue working together to ensure the Sunshine State remains a top destination for education, career opportunities, business, and beyond.”

All of these endorsements come at a time in which the incumbent Cammack is just weeks away from not only defending her nomination as the Republican nominee in the 3rd district, but for her seat in Tallahassee as well.
