Mast Receives Jim Jordan Endorsement

Share

On Monday, Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) was endorsed by the founder of the Freedom Caucus in the House, and fellow colleague, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH). Rep. Jordan has been in Congress since 2007 and been serving the 4th district all 15 years in the House. Currently, he sits as a ranking member on the Judiciary Committee and serves on the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. In addition to these assignments, Jordan has been a prominent leader for the GOP in the House of Representatives. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2021 after leading the effort to “confront the impeachment witch hunt” according to the Trump White House.

“Brian Mast is a battle-tested war hero who fought to defend our country from terrorists in Afghanistan.," said the Ohio Congressman. “In Congress, Brian is one of the staunchest defenders of individual liberty, fighting every day to put an end to extreme leftist policies and to stop Joe Biden from radicalizing our military.”

Mast shared this notable endorsement with a tweet that stated,"NEW: Our campaign for #FL21 was endorsed today by Freedom Caucus Founder and America First Congressman Jim Jordan. Please share!”

The backing from the prominent conservative Congressman comes about two months after receiving an endorsement from former President, Donald Trump (R).

“Congressman Brian Mast is working hard in Congress for the incredible people of Florida. A U.S. Army Veteran and a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart recipient, Brian is dedicated to serving our Country," said former President Trump about Mast. “Brian is Strong on National Security, the Border, Jobs, the Economy, our Second Amendment, the Military and our Brave Vets. Brian Mast is a Warrior for our movement, and he has my Complete and Total Endorsement.”

Since the redistricting in Florida, Mast is seeking reelection in the 21st district.
