Rep. Daniel Webster Donates $50K to NRCC Amid Their Anti-Trump Controversy

Now that the congressional lines have been finalized and signed off on by Gov. Ron DeSantis, congressional candidates and members running for reelection to the House of Representatives can finally get on with their campaigns. One of the races to follow in Florida is the Republican primary race in CD 11, where incumbent Rep. Daniel Webster (R) will face off with conservative journalist Laura Loomer.

Following redistricting, Florida's 11th District now includes Lake County, Sumter County, which includes The Villages, parts of Polk County, including Polk City, and a portion of Orange County, including the Walt Disney properties.

Loomer has been campaigning against Rep. Webster by questioning his attendance record in the House of Representatives, as well as his apparent failure to support former President Donald Trump during the second impeachment, and his absence in voting on the  1/6 Commission.

Webster just recently began pushing out somewhat of an aggressive social media presence, and it appears as if his reelection campaign may be getting ready to rear its head as Webster may be feeling the heat from his competition.

Loomer, who is already on the ground and gaining traction with voters,  has outraised Webster the last three fundraising reporting cycles.

In just this past Q1 report, Loomer tripled Webster’s take in, raising over $169,000 even though she is the only de-platformed candidate in the nation denied Twitter and Facebook account.

Loomer told The Floridian, "despite Big Tech's egregious censorship and election interference in my campaign, by denying me access to campaign Facebook and Twitter accounts, the Laura Loomer for Congress campaign is on a mission to prove to the world that it's the American people who will decide election winners and losers,  not the Big Tech tyrants."

" I am motivated and humbled by the massive amount of support my campaign is receiving on the ground here in District 11, and I am looking forward to being the fighter that the constituents of District 11 deserve when I am elected to Congress," added Loomer.

Interestingly enough, Webster should have $50,000 more dollars in his coffers, but over the past year, he has cut several checks totalling $50,000 to the Kevin McCarthy-led National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC).

The latest $20,000 check was cut that Webster cut for the NRCC was written if February 2022.

This was revealed last week on secret audio of a phone call that McCarthy and Emmer had with Rep.Liz Cheney in the immediate aftermath of January 6, 2021.

Florida’s 11^th congressional district is a solid Republican seat, so whoever wins the primary race will in fact be the next member of Congress. Florida's Republican primary is slated for August 23, 2022.
