State Rep. Randy Fine (R-53) sent off a Tweet today where he made provocative statements about the Second Amendment. His colleague, State Rep. Anna Eskamani (D-47), fired back at Fine over his gun comments.
After the unfortunate Texas school shooting that took the lives of almost 20 children, President Biden (D) gave a speech that many Republicans like Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham found divisive and targeted gun owners.
Rep. Fine joined many Republicans in defending gun rights, where he wrote on his Twitter, "I have news for the embarrassment that claims to be our President — try to take our guns and you’ll learn why the Second Amendment was written in the first place."
While many Twitter users following Fine blasted him for his comments, the most predominant criticism came from Progressive Florida House member Anna Eskamani. Eskamani posted a screenshot of the Tweet and wrote, "Just another day in Florida with Randy Fine threatening the President of the United States after children and adults were shot & murdered at a school in Texas."

The GOP has now been casted as the villains less than 24 hours after the school shooting that took place in Uvalde, Texas. Currently multiple categories, such as, "#RepublicansAreTheProblem," and, "#ProLifeMyAss," have dominated the conversation on Twitter.
The recent school shooting in Texas is the first one of its magnitude in a long time. The tragedy has not only drawn the attention of President Biden, but also US Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Matthew McConaughey.
