Eric Lynn is a Florida Democratic candidate for Congress who vying for Charlie Crist’s (D-FL) seat in District 13 is late on paying his property taxes.

According to his own website, Lynn is a former Senior Advisor in President Obama’s administration, a “national security expert, small business owner, community advocate, and St. Petersburg Native”.

However, The Floridian has exclusively obtained information that shows that Mr. Lynn has not paid property taxes on a home he owns in Washington, D.C., even though he supports the  “Build Back Better” program.

According to the Office of the Chief Financial officer at the Office of Tax and Revenue in Washington, D.C, Lynn has not paid past due taxes on the Jefferson PL address condominium he owns.

“Corporations and the already-wealthy may be thriving, but working families and small businesses are struggling to get by. RT if you agree Senators should act now so America will #BuildBackBetter," stated Lynn.

D.C. property records show that as of April 11, 2022, Eric Lynn now owes a balance of $3, 290.28, which includes a real property tax of $2,950.93, a real property interest of $44.26, and a real property penalty of $295.09.”

Here is the new total amount Lynn owes after being penalized for being late on his property tax,

In addition, the Build Back Better plan could lead to over $1 trillion in tax hikes on American workers and businesses, force middle-class Americans to shoulder the burden of new corporate taxes, and result in the highest tax rate in the developed world.

It is quite the position for any politician, right or left, conservative or liberal, to want to increase the tax rate on the American people while also not adhering to the civil duty and obligation that is paying your taxes.

Lynn, who is considered the leading Democratic candidate in race's Democratic primary race,  purchased the property in April of 2007 and since has been late on his payments multiple times.
