Donalds Calls Out Biden's Attempt to Blame Gas Prices on Putin

Share

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) has gone on record claiming that the new White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, is right about the war causing the gas price hike in America. He then later specifies that  it is Biden's “war on America’s energy industry.”

America’s gas prices have been soaring since Joe Biden has taken office. According to Forbes, the national average was $3.41 in December of 2021. However, since late February, the Putin regime has led a war against Ukraine that forced the hand of western civilizations around the world to produce sanctions against the Russian government. That naturally has increased costs. However, the Biden administration has not been keen on drilling or natural resources and crude oil on American land.

Donalds, understanding this, stated in a tweet,

“.@PressSec is correct. A war is to blame for the increased gas prices. Biden’s war on America’s energy industry. Stop with the ‘Putin’s Price Hike’ talking points. No one believes you.”

He would also discuss both the shortage of baby formula and the rise in gas prices on Fox Business. The extended version of his interview can be found below:

“The failure of Joe Biden’s radical agenda is showcasing the dysfunction of governing with talking points and not strategic policy. Biden’s inability to implement sound economic policy is inflicting severe financial harm to millions of families across the U.S.”
