Donalds: Baby Formula Crisis "Blew up in Joe Biden's Face"

Share

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) was interviewed by The Floridian on Thursday and discussed Ukraine, the border crisis, and Roe V. Wade. Republicans around the country have been quick to notice that the recent $40 billion proposal to aide Ukraine is coming at a time in which the United States is scarce for baby formula, inflation is at all-time highs, and the government cannot secure its own border.

This is what conservatives have acknowledged.

Rep. Charlie Crist (D-FL) has stated that America should be able to walk and chew gum at the same time when it comes to solving multiple problems such as the border and the Ukrainian conflict.

Donalds said in response, “We can walk and chew gum at the same time. But the majority party chooses that all they want to do is chew gum, they forgot that they actually have feet and they can move. Up here (Washington D.C.), we’ve not done anything. We’ve never had a hearing about the border. It’s never talked about with the majority party.."

"So, it’s one thing to say we’re walking and chewing gum at the same time. Doing that means you’re working on the southern border; you’re bringing fixes for inflation," added Donalds You’re solving the baby formula crisis which just blew up in Joe Biden’s face…but here on Capitol Hill, all they know how to do is just chew gum. And there is no walking going on here.”

When asked about Roe V. Wade being overturned, Donalds said that "life begins at conception."

“Me personally? Yes, I think that number one, life beings at conception and that life is sacred. I think number two, having to go to the state level is the appropriate way in our government," concluded Donalds.

Since the Supreme Court leaked opinion on banning Roe vs. Wadem  abortion has been the hot button issue.
