Cory Mills Beats Kamala Harris to the Border to Access 'Invasion'

Share

Businessman and combat veteran, Cory Mills (R-FL) who is running for Florida's 7th Congressional seat to replace the retiring Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D), visited the Southern Border before other congressional candidates, or even VP Kamala Harris (D) amid the news that Title 42 could soon be trashed and allow the unprecedented "Border Crisis" to explode.

Title 42 is a Trump Era immigration policy that has been heavily scrutinized by Democrats for several years.  The policy allowed the United States to expel illegal immigrants for public health reasons, which caused many in opposition to accuse the administration of abusing the action.

While the media has moved on from reporting the Border Crisis of 2021, Democrats like US Rep. Val Demings (R-FL) have flirted with repealing the policy with their House and Senate majority, and occupation of the White House that many analysts see coming to an end this November.

Mills decided that he would see for himself what he calls the "invasion," of illegal immigrants.

"I'm going to be different than many of the politicians that are running for office today and many that are in office. Unlike the Border Czar Kamala Harris, who says they shall come down to our borders but has done nothing. I'm here taking it in myself, to get eyes on the real problem, from the human trafficking, from the opioid overdose, from all the things when they're wanting to live title 42 is invading our nation. I'm here on the border to make sure I get eyes on," said Mills in video he posted on social media.

In a second video Mills posted, the Republican narrates what he finds along the banks of the Rio Grande River.

During the video, Mills points to flotation devices, clothing, clear plastic bags, and even a life preserver that is left behind by illegal immigrants that have crossed over.

Mills, who is seen holstering a firearm, becomes the first congressional candidate in his primary race, perhaps in all of Florida to actually have boots on the ground along the Rio Grande River.

To Mills, "every single state is a border state," when it comes to the Biden Administration.

Once Title 42 ends, some 18,000 illegal immigrants are expected to cross the border every day.

Mills is running in a contentious Republican primary race against former Navy Seal Brady Duke, former Debary Vice Mayor Erika Benfield, Rep. Anthony Sabatini, Businessman Scott Sturgill, and D.C. insider Rusty Roberts.
