Cabrera Announces Head Turning Campaign Funding

Kevin Marino Cabrera’s Campaign announced that he has raised over $100k in his first week. The funds are tied to the political committee, Dade First PC.

This campaign, which is vying for the District 6 County Commission seat in Miami-Dade, has gotten off to a good start for the Miami native.

“I am grateful to my friends and family for their help and show of support since filing,” said Cabrera in a press release. “I am excited to continue knocking on doors and listening to my neighbors, so I can be ready to serve them with integrity and respect as their County Commissioner.”

Cabrera in the past has served as the Florida State Director for the Trump campaign and the RNC (Republican National Committee) according to the press release.

The County Commissioner seat is ran on a nonpartisan basis, so it will be interesting how the people respond to a candidate that is known to be heavily involved with one party.

The people of District 6, which includes cities such as Virginia Gardens, Miami Springs, West Miami, and parts of cities such as Coral Gables and Hialeah, will have to make their decisions soon as the primary of these elections are held on August 23^rd.
