Alina Garcia Endorsed by Speaker-Designate Paul Renner

Share

Today, Alina Garcia (R-115) who is pursuing the 115th seat in the Florida House of Representatives has just earned the official endorsement from Florida House Speaker-designate Paul Renner (R-24).

Garcia is relatively new to the House race, as the ambitious Republican initially ran for State Senate, where she garnered the endorsement of US Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Garcia is a veteran political operative who has even worked personally for Senator Rubio as a Legislative Aide, and knows all the ins and outs of public service in Florida.

Now, Garcia is seeing a bright path down the campaign trail with the endorsement of Rep. Paul Renner, the soon-to-be new face of the Florida GOP when he takes over the Speaker position that Rep. Chris Sprowls (R-66) currently holds.

"Alina Garcia is an experienced public servant who has earned the respect of her community," said Renner. "Miami-Dade will gain a dedicated and passionate leader that will make an immediate difference in Tallahassee. I look forward to working with Alina to make Florida the best state for children, families, and workers."
"Serving my community, Miami-Dade, and the State of Florida has been an honor and I will serve in Tallahassee to ensure that our people and communities continue to grow and prosper," said Garcia. "I believe our best days are ahead of us because Florida has strong leaders like Governor Ron DeSantis and Speaker-designate Paul Renner who understand that we must build an economic environment that allows small businesses to thrive, protect our coast and water supply, and give our children access to the best educational tools available. Together, we will make Tallahassee serve the people and leave our state better off for the next generation."
The district Garcia is currently running for includes parts of Miami-Dade County.  With redistricting behind us we will see if a Republican can now win in a considerably blue part of the state of Florida.
