Florida businesswoman Susan Plasencia (R) who is pursuing House District 37 in this upcoming election cycle has just been endorsed by Speaker-Designate Paul Renner (R-24).
Rep.Renner has been selected to take up the role of Speaker of the Florida House after current Speaker Chris Sprowls (R-66) finishes his service. It is safe to say that Paul Renner is an accurate example of the direction the Florida GOP is heading.
"Susan Plasencia is a strong conservative, mother, and business owner who will fight for families in Tallahassee," said Speaker-Designate Renner. "As a champion for the men, women, and children of central Florida, Susan will stand up for the principles Floridians value."
"As a business owner she understands firsthand how to balance a budget and the importance of good jobs to empower the lives of everyday Floridians. We can count on Susan Plasencia to keep Florida free. I am proud to endorse her for the Florida House of Representatives."
As a mother, businesswoman, and an active member of the Central Florida Hispanic community , Plasencia said she was, "incredibly humbled and grateful to have Speaker-Designate Renner’s support and look forward to working closely with him to better the lives of Floridians."
Plasencia added, "The Florida House of Representatives has led the fight to defend the freedoms and liberties that have made Florida the freest state in America. Without the courage and vision of the House of Representatives, Florida would not be where it is today."
