DeSantis: ‘Florida is Proof That Policies Matter’

Share

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) is touting his successes while directing verbal jabs at President Joe Biden (D). In a message sent to supporters, Team DeSantis provided an update as to how the state is doing as of November, mentioning the economy, Dr. Fauci, and affirming that “Florida is proof that policies matter.”

“In the month of November, Florida accounted for 1 out of every 4 new jobs in the United States,” the message read, adding that Florida’s economy “is growing at a rate 6 TIMES GREATER than the national average.”

This, the message argues, is because of “Governor DeSantis’ leadership” during a time when “Joe Biden continues to flounder on the economy.”

The message goes on to explain that “unsurprisingly, our economy thrives when Governor DeSantis keeps our taxes low, rejects heavy-handed mandates that put hard-working employees out of a job, and gives investors and businesses peace of mind to know they won’t have to worry about the government shutting them down based on the latest deranged hypothesis to enter the mind of Dr. Fauci.”

Affirming that “Florida is proof that policies matter,” the Governor’s team asserted that “DeSantis will keep standing up for what’s right, protecting jobs and businesses, and defending liberty.”

Dubbing it “Faucism,” Governor DeSantis has heavily criticized the Biden Administration and Dr. Fauci over a number of measures they’ve supported in order to tackle the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, DeSantis lambasted Dr. Fauci, saying that Americans should resist “permanent Faucism” because “we cannot allow our communities to become Faucian dystopias in which people’s freedoms are curtailed and their livelihoods destroyed.”

DeSantis’ team ends the message by arguing that “the Biden regime might be doing its best to crater our economy, but in Florida, we’re going to fight back and remain an oasis of success in the economic maelstrom Biden is creating.”
