'Let's Go Brandon' Political Balls Fly In Florida

Share

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and combat veteran and congressional candidate Cory Mills are taking their affinity for golfing a little bit further than most and are now campaigning using their new pair of, um, balls.

Because Gov. DeSantis is arguably the most popular governor in American due to his tough position against mandates that have come down from the federal government, it was only a matter of time before he began to use his favorite hobby for campaign purposes.

DeSantis loves his golf.

Team DeSantis just announced that he was selling a pair of “Fortified in Florida” golf balls in its campaign store, a testament to the governor having “the courage to stand his ground and fortify Florida as the model of freedom,” adding that the campaign now had “the golf balls to back it up.”

“Standing firm and setting an example for the rest of the nation in defending freedom as it comes under assault has become par for the course with Governor DeSantis,” stated the campaign in a fundraising email.

Mills, who is running in a contested Republican primary race in Florida’s 7th congressional district, just posted a video of himself at a golf driving range and hitting a new “Let’s Go Brandon” golf ball he had made.

“So, I’ve made some special balls, the Let’s go Brandon balls,” said Mills in the video. Mills added that he wanted to let potential voters  “know exactly” what he thought about “the Biden Socialist Build Back Broke” agenda

Once he struck the ball, Mills addressed President Biden and said,” That’s what we think about your socialist agenda. Let’s Go Brandon.”

The term “Let’s Go Brandon” came to life when an NBC Sports reporter falsely stated that fans  at a recent NASCAR event were chanting “Let’s Go Brandon” when in fact they were chanting “F*ck Joe Biden.”

The term has become a rallying cry of sorts for Republicans and has been used by just about everyone, including by President Trump’s own family.
