West Palm Beach, FL—Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that he was holding a press conference today, but upon arriving at the media availability, the event turned into more of a rally for his “Election Integrity” initiative that he has been pushing since the 2020 presidential election, and now during the "Brandon Administration."

Gov. DeSantis touched on all the “Big Tech” and “Election Integrity” red meat talking points the crowd of about 300 came to hear, but it wasn’t until he took a big swipe at Chief Medical Advisor to the President, Dr. Anthony Fauci, that the roof came down.

“A recession is when your neighbor loses his job, a depression is when you lose yours, a recovery is when Dr. Fauci loses his,” proclaimed DeSantis.

The DeSantis faithful then broke out into the now-famous “Let’s Go Brandon” dig at President Trump when DeSantis referred to the Biden Administration as the “Brandon Administration.”

A visibly-amused DeSantis then went on to tell the story of how the term “Let’s Go Brandon” came about, before updating the room about his wife’s current battle with breast cancer.

As most Americans not living under a rock know that the catch chant came about when an NBC news reporter covered up a "F*ck Joe Biden" chant at a NASCAR event by telling the driver she was interviewing that they were chanting "Let's Go Brandon."

DeSantis was swarmed by supporters as he finished his speech, but FDLE officers and local sheriff deputies were able to shield him (somewhat) from the crush of supporters attempting to get a selfie picture with the governor.
