Laura Loomer Slams 'Fake News' Video Of Orlando Bar Incident

With Florida politics as tense as it is, plenty of theatrics is bound to occur.  Congressional candidate Laura Loomer (R-FL) called out State Rep. Anna Eskamani (D-49) for spreading a "fake news" video of Loomer.

After attending a medical freedom rally in Orlando on Saturday in support of the Orange County Firefighters being threatened to be fired if they do not get vaccinated, Loomer and fellow congressional candidates Willie Montague ,had an alleged altercation with a waitress at a local restaurant.  Loomer told  The Floridian that she and Willie decided to leave after her waitress called them and her company "retards" for wearing anti-COVID vaccination t-shirts.

Of course, the video got around Twitter and eventually into the hands of Progressive State Rep. Eskamani (D), and has garnered over 100,000 views, despite being "fake news."  Rep. Eskamani retweeted the video asserting that Loomer and her company had, "no respect for our local small businesses who have been through SO MUCH to keep their doors open during COVID-19."

Due to being de-platformed, Loomer cannot respond to the video but made sure to deliver remarks to The Floridian.  The congressional hopeful described the events painted by Eskamani and Ron Filipkowski as  "totally fake news," adding that Filpkowski, the disgraced former Republican Attorney who resigned from his position with Gov. Ron DeSantis, lied about the encounter.

Loomer said, "We were not thrown out, we decided to leave because the waitress called us "retards."

According to Loomer, there have been several falsely propagated elements of this video.  Loomer clarified that the man Filipkowski claimed is the restaurant owner and kicked Loomer and Montague out and used "strong language" against her, was actually a supporter of hers.

Loomer claims the "strong language" used against her was actually directed towards the waitress that called her party "retards."

Upon further investigation, The Floridian has confirmed Loomer's story and can report that the tweets sent out by Filipkowski and Eskamani are false.

"They are blatantly lying about what happened. Willie and I decided to leave, we were not kicked out.  We are not going to give our money to people that call us "retards" over our vaccination status," added Loomer.

“It’s rather ironic that Rep. Eskamani is pandering to restaurant owners. She wants to pretend like she, as a progressive politician, has any sympathy for business owners who were shut down during COVID-19. It was her party, the Democrat Party, that wanted to extend lockdowns and mandates in Florida and attacked Governor DeSantis for opening the state of Florida again.”-Laura Loomer

Loomer also told The Floridian that she threatened Filipowski with the defamation suit and would be filing a bar complaint for willfully defaming her. Filipkowski has since deleted the video.

Loomer is challenging Rep. Daniel Webster (R) in what could be one of the most contentious Republican primary races of the 2022 election cycle.
