DeSantis: 'Bidenomics are Failing the American People'

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) launched for criticism at President Joe Biden (D) over the weekend just as another gubernatorial candidate positions herself (Annette Taddeo) to challenge DeSantis for the seat in the upcoming 2022 midterm election. The Governor, who has vehemently opposed Biden with every decision the President has made, is sharing his thoughts on why “Bidenomics are failing the American people.”

“Thanks to Joe Biden, America is plunging towards an economic crisis,” argued the Florida Governor.

“In 10 short months, Joe Biden has turned America from being a net exporter of energy to having the highest gas prices in 7 years,” DeSantis commented, adding that “due to Biden’s failed policies, inflation is rising to match 13-year high AND consumer prices are on track to surge over 5 percent year-over-year.”

In response to “Bidenomics,” DeSantis outlined in an email to supporters the many ways that he’s trying “to combat Biden’s incompetencies and weak leadership.”

His response includes creating “tens of thousands of jobs” and announcing “hundreds of millions in investments in vocational education and apprenticeship programs” as well as ending “federal unemployment benefits to get Floridians back to work” and investing “in our seaports to increase our ability to ease the supply chain crisis.”

However, he affirmed that “we’re just getting started.”

Expressing that “Bidenomics are failing the American people,” asserting that “Florida remains the economic powerhouse for both workers and businesses nationwide” and that “Florida will continue to take necessary steps to keep our economy thriving, regardless of the hurdles created by the buffoonery going on in the White House.”

The Governor’s words come the week that state Senator Taddeo (D) announced her gubernatorial candidacy in a primary race that also includes Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried (D) and Florida Rep. Charlie Crist (D).

Taddeo is now running against Crist, her gubernatorial running mate in 2014 against then-Governor Rick Scott (R).
