Bilirakis Blasts Biden's 'Self-made' Energy Crisis

Share

Short staffing, high gas prices, and low inventory have hit the US in waves during the past few months.  Now, President Biden (D) is being blamed for yet another crisis.  US Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-FL) has blasted Biden for his "Self-made" energy crisis.

“This is not a fluke,” stated Congressman Bilirakis, “But rather, a deliberate consequence resulting from the disastrous policies and actions of the Biden Administration.”  Bilirakis finds that this all goes as far back as Biden's first days in the Oval Office when he canceled the Key Stone Pipeline project and reportedly cost 11,000 jobs.

Once again, Bilirakis took aim at President with the very popular implication that the current failures of the Biden Administration would not have existed under the Trump presidency:

“The catastrophic path this administration has set us on must be reversed now!  America needs to once again be in the driver’s seat when it comes to our energy production. Just one year ago when fuel prices were the lowest they’d been in years, we were a net exporter of energy. The greatest nation on the face of the earth should never have to rely on Saudi Arabia or other nations hostile to us.   We can unleash American energy, create American jobs, and lower prices at the pump by implementing the pro-growth, common sense policies of the previous administration,” Bilirakis noted.

Bilirakis has also been very critical of Democrats in the legislature, who in his opinion are drafting bills that will cost Americans even more than what they are losing with the Biden-Harris Administration.  The South Florida Representative predicts that the Democrat-backed "Heat Your Home Tax," will cost the United States upwards of 90,000 jobs.

The plan for the Heat Your Home Tax imposes a $1,500 tax per ton of methane emissions on energy producers, processors, transmission, storage, import/export, pipelines.
