CNN Reporter Calls Taliban 'Friendly' As Kabul Falls

Share

Afghanistan has officially fallen to the Taliban, leaving mainstream media with a plethora of disturbing footage to broadcast.  However, as crowds of Taliban fighters screamed "Death to America!" in Afghanistan, CNN still described the terrorist organization as "friendly."

As previously reported by the Floridian, the CNN anchor in  Afghanistan, who quickly adjusted to wearing a headpiece, slipped in a nice compliment for the terror group who just toppled an entire nation and undid 20 years of American military intervention.

While mostly overlooked, "The First," a "FREE network with fresh voices and true ideas. No censorship, no-frills & no cost. On your phone, computer, and TV" according to their Twitter bio, caught the clip and posted it on their Twitter account, questioning the comment.

Chrissa Ward, the CNN international chief correspondent also made sure to document her trip to the middle east by posing for a picture with some locals, claiming on Twitter about the violent take over of Afghanistan "On the streets of Kabul today- feel we are witnessing history."

Meanwhile, as Afghanis literally cling to airplanes trying to leave Kabul, President Joe Biden (D) and top officials are on vacation. President Biden was warned of this impending disaster.

With the mainstream media not appearing to play favorites as per usual, Biden's job has so far revved up the comparisons between him and President Jimmy Carter (D) as the former president dealt with his own middle-eastern crisis, and the events of today have drawn parallels between Saigon (1975) and the Bay of Pigs (1961).
