Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) called for a "whole of government approach" during a recent appearance on MSNBC, wh valiantly complimenting the bipartisanship leadership we have seen so far within the devastated Surfside community.

Wassman Schultz told MSNBC's, Chuck Todd that "despite the differences between various elected officials here, we've all approached this as a team and there's not been any daylight between us."
Wasserman-Schultz then offered that everyone on the federal and local levels of government should look to ensure that "A) Getting to the bottom of how this happened, to prevent it from ever happening again, B) the kinds changes necessary on all three levels of government to make ensure we can prevent it from happening again, and C) to make sure there are resources that are made available at the federal and state levels at least."
Previously, Rep. Wasserman-Schultz welcomed President Biden (D) with thanks when he approved the decision to approve an emergency declaration that would allow FEMA to coordinate disaster relief for the tragedy on Friday.
Moreover, Rep. Wasserman-Schultz also gave credit to the federal government, stating that it “is committed to the rescue and response efforts in Surfside.” Speaking of the President and First Lady’s visit to the families and survivors of the victims, she shared that the visit brought “hope and comfort” to the community devastated by this tragedy.
