Rubio Calls Biden's Sanctions on Cuban Regime 'Meaningless' and Mojito-Driven

While both Republican and Democratic members of Congress acknowledged President Joe Biden's recent sanctioning of elements within the Cuban regime for the abuses they committed during the recent Cuban protests on the island, some legislators with more in-depth knowledge of the regime's decades-long human rights violations, and  who have a bit more skin in the game than most, call Biden's sanctions against Cuba as "meaningless."

Senator Marco Rubio (R), who is without a doubt persona non grata, and one of the most detested U.S. lawmakers by the Cuban government, tweeted," Biden sanctioning an already sanctioned regime official in #Cuba is the kind of symbolic but meaningless measure," if the president continues to take advise from the same people that advised and "were drinking mojitos in Havana during the Obama administration's "normalizing" of relations with Cuba.

"Biden sanctioning an already sanctioned regime official in #Cuba is the kind of symbolic but meaningless measure we will continue to see as long as @potusis being advised by people who were drinking mojitos in Havana in 2015 to celebrate the Obama policy," tweeted Rubio.

Does Rubio have a preference for Cuba Libre's over mojitos?

Perhaps.

Sen. Rubio and Senator Rick Scott recently filed the FORCE ACT to keep Biden from removing the Cuban regime from the U.S. State Department's list of state sponsors of terrorism.

“Obama-Biden” appeasement policies that made Cuba what it is today claiming that, “The Biden Administration cannot back down in the fight against rogue nations or take any action that will help strengthen the Castro regime.”

Back during Obama/Biden administration, President Barack Obama went as far as to take in a baseball game with Dictator Raul Castro while easing restrictions on Cuba, reestablishing diplomatic relations, getting rid of the "Wet Foot, Dry Foot" immigration policy, and received nothing in return from the Cuban government.

Obama went through with his normalization efforts even after intelligence services accused the Cuban government of conducting terrorist attacks against the embassy in Havana that caused "Havana Syndrome" t0 many embassy employees.
