With inflation on the rise due to the unprecedented and unnecessary COVID-19 stimulus relief packages the Biden administration has been signing off on, Republicans have been quick to shed a spotlight on the rise of inflation, and the effect it is having at the grocery store and on bacon
Rep. Kat Cammack, a Republican congresswoman from Central Florida, contends that because of the agenda being propagated in the U.S Congress by "far-Left cronies" of President Joe Biden, the price of peanut M&M's and Big Mac's are drastically going up.
According to a meme Rep. Cammack posted to social media, the price of Milk has gone up 5.6%, the fruit has gone up 7.3%, but of all things that Americans need to survive, the cost of bacon has gone up 8.4%.
President Biden believes that inflation is only "temporary."
“Our experts believe and the data show that most of the price increases we’ve seen were expected and are expected to be temporary. The reality is you can’t flip the global economics light back and not expect this to happen,” Biden said.
“If your primary concern right now is inflation, you should be even more enthusiastic about this plan,” Biden said in remarks from the White House State Dining Room. “These steps will enhance our productivity, raising wages without raising prices, and won’t increase inflation. It will take the pressure off of inflation.
While Biden stated that the current level of inflation will pass, he did not say whether or not he would move to bail out the bacon industry.
