In her first campaign video ads of the 2020 midterm election cycle, Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried (D-FL) promises to bring change to Florida as she appeared to receive very awkward spam emails from the state Republican Party and Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL).
In the brief 18 second video, Fried goes through her email notifications as talks to herself about what she is reading. The rest of the video speaks for itself...here's a transcript:
"I love the fact that I'm still on all of the Republican and friends of Ron DeSantis' emails."
"Everyday I get emails from them."
"In case you missed it, DeSantis appeared on Hannity last night..."
"I did miss it, and I'll continue to miss it."
Fried titled the video "Something New," alluding to her mission to bring "something new" to Florida by getting rid of Governor DeSantis.

The video posted late last night on Fried's Twitter gets the point across, but did not seem to resonate well with voters, with one user "@kayla_gowdy," responding by quoting the video "Fire whoever thought this was a good idea."
As for Nikki Fried's email problem with the governor, The Floridian believes she is now sending his emails to the "spam file."
