Cammack: Israel is a non-negotiable issue

On top of the thousands of rockets fired into Israel,  Middle East tensions have sparked massive political theatre here at home, leading many progressives such as Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to call Israeli aid "an act of terrorism."  However, Rep. Kat Cammack (R-FL) has not taken kindly to the rhetoric, calling Israel a "non-negotiable" issue.

The Floridian recently sat down with Cammack, in which she informed Americans of House Democrats' fear to support the police in order to avoid retribution from the Squad and House Speaker Pelosi.

The Squad's influence reportedly withstands the Israeli-Palestinian issue as well that Cammack says, "should be bipartisan," in support of Israel and denouncing the Hamas terrorist group.

Rep. Cammack gave a very straightforward statement on the nature of Hamas to the Floridian in the form of a question:

"Ask yourself this question: If Hamas were to lay down their arms, Israel would cease fire.  If Israel laid down their arms do you think Hamas would stop?"

Rep. Cammack elaborated, "When you know you're dealing with a group that is engaged in terrorism, that uses children and women as body shields when you're dealing with a group that is. a proxy for another state sponsor of terror, Iran, they have no intention of being good neighbors."

The Floridian then asked Cammack if US and Israeli relations could potentially suffer straining from President Biden's indecisiveness on the issue, in which she responded "if it hasn't already," elaborating "typically the first phone calls that a commander and chief makes are very telling of what he or she is going to prioritize, it was months before a phone call had been made to the Prime Minister," adding "that is very telling about where the priority of Israeli and US relations will go."

Although the rhetoric discourages Cammack and pro-Israel Americans, the representative is optimistic that Republicans have "remained united on this issue for as long as I can remember," and she fully expects "something in writing to reaffirm our relationship with Israel, Israel is non-negotiable."
