The U.S. Supreme Court is under siege once again by Left-wing activists, but their not targeting justices like Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh, they are going after one of their own, Justice Stephen Breyer.
But why? Justice Breyer has been one of the constant voices of opposition to the late Antonin Scalia, Justice Clarence, and Justice Alito?
It appears as if Breyer is not the progressive they hoped he would be after the senior justice came out against packing the Supreme Court.
"Proposals have been recently made to increase the number of Supreme Court justices. I'm sure that others will discuss related political arguments," he said. "This lecture reflects my own effort to be certain that those who are going to debate these questions ... also consider an important institutional point. Consider it. Namely, how would court-packing reflect and affect the rule of law itself?"
Breyer added, "to make those whose initial instincts may favor important structural change, or other similar institutional changes, such as forms of court-packing, think long and hard before they embody those changes in law."
Breyer’s remark caused panic throughout the progressive world with far-left activist groups calling for him to step down.
“I'm sure Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, who's served for almost 30 years, is shaking in his boots at an online petition from Demand Justice,” tweeted Hartline.
It is highly doubtful that petition and advertisement will pressure Breyer into retiring from the bench.

“We can't afford to risk Democrats losing control of the Senate before President Biden can follow through on his promise to nominate the first Black woman Supreme Court justice. It's time for Justice Breyer to announce his retirement,” stated Demand Justice on Twitter.
Demand Justice stepped up their online rhetoric and has gone as far as to hire mobile advertising trucks to express their support for Breyer’s early retirement.
As expected, Republicans are using the call for Breyer to retire as the butt of their jokes, mocking progressives for eating one of their own.
Florida Congressman Brian Mast (R) texted,” Apparently justice is will not be color blind for Biden” in response to The Floridian’s request for comment on the push to retire Breyer.
According to Fox News, Senator Rick Scott’s former Communication Director and current National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Communications Director Chris Hartline also mocked the online petition.
