Roach and Family Face Threats Over His THC Cap Position

Share

State Rep. Spencer Roach (R-79)  has become the latest social media meme victim because of his effort to lower the medicinal marijuana THC cap in the state.

Here is a Twitter user below, taunting the Representative with his own last name, "Roach", saying, "We know where you live":

While a post like this is easy to shrug off and practically harmless, some residents took their grievances straight to the Representative, with even more passion.

Here is another beauty from Facebook Messenger:

One anonymous email acquired by The Floridian wishes a stroke on the Representative and reads as follows:

The backlash appears to be bipartisan as well, as one man named, "Ian" in an email to Roach claims, "I have voted Republican all my life", but adds that he "would vote for a DEMOCRAT" over Roach.

The Floridian reached out to Roach and his team, where they characterized the threats as "completely reprehensible."

Representative Roach has not gone into any further detail regarding the recent incidents.
